METAL SUITE is born! 💥
I am so happy to have completed this new Concerto for Brass Quintet and Concert Band which explores the characteristics that different metals bring to brass instruments.
It begins with the noble and richness of GOLD, continues with the warm smoothness of BRONZE, and concludes with the sparkling brilliance of SILVER.
Can’t wait for the premiere with Magnifica Quintette De Cuivres and Luxembourg Military Band in Housen (LU) on 30th october, and the recording just a few days earlier.

The new album by the Koninklijke Militaire Kapel ‘Johan Willem Friso’ conducted by Major Frans-Aert Burghgraef and produced by Symphonic Dimensions Publishing, is out now!
As the album title already reveals, it inculdes one of my newest works STELLARIUM, originally written for fanfare but now also for concert band. It also features my works BURNING STRAWMAN (both works will be available as sheet music next year), TO MOTHER EARTH and FANTASY ON FIVE GERMAN FOLKSONGS. The last two are already available to order at Symphonic Dimensions Publishing.

I am incredibly proud to share my composer debut at WMC Kerkrade. Even better, it will be a double debut!
On 18th July at 19:30, Bouneweger Musek will perform my work STELLARIUM, specially composed for this occasion, in the First Division of Fanfare Bands in the Rodahall.
Then, on 19th July at 16:10, Euroband Rotterdam will perform DOLOMITI in the Championship Division of Marching Bands at the Parkstad Limburg Stadium.
What makes this even more special is that I will be able to attend both performances at this prestigious competition. I am really looking forward to it!
